Most commission packages for example, when broken down, won’t see you earn quite as much as you think on the surface, but ours like for like tends to be considerably better.

Unlike most recruitment agencies our founder never intended to start an agency. When the time came to move on, they could not find a recruitment agency to work for that felt quite right.
What was wanted was somewhere that paid the best commission, provided the best in class tech to be able to do the job and treated people fairly and maturely without all the gimmicks and nonsense that is often found working elsewhere.
It sounds so simple, but everywhere seemed to say one thing and do something else. So it felt like everywhere was trying to stuff square pegs in round holes to make employees feel at home.

What do we do?
We are a specialist recruiter permanent and contract recruiter for vacancies within the Engineering & Manufacturing, Energy, IT and Science sectors across the UK, US and Europe. Having invested in the latest systems, advertising, marketing, training and development we believe we have a number of advantages that enable our consultants to place more candidates than they would otherwise.

What do we offer?
Commission: Up to 30% (but that is paid on all of the billings if you invoice over £20,000 in a working month). Most companies claim they pay 30% but that is only on a fraction of the invoicing total. Not with us though. Compared to some competitors we pay twice as much to you on the same billings.
Progression: We have a meritocratic progression structure where it is possible to get promoted up to 3 times in a single calendar year, each coming with pay rises too. And the progression runs all the way to Director. Our top performer earned over £160,000 in 2024 as an example.
Training: We operate a mix of training sessions in bite sized formats both classroom style and desk style plus on the job training sessions delivered by different specialists who have been there and delivered. Plus if you want evidence of our training quality, every single consultant who has joined from another recruitment company has increased both their billings and earnings considerably since joining elix.

Dependent on your experience and skillset, our salaries range. Though, it is fair to say we pay well. As for our commission, we pay 25% to 40%.
Our working week is Monday to Thursday 7:45am until 5pm and Fridays are 7:45am until 5pm for UK based recruiters. If you are working our German or US markets they will differ slightly to meet client hours.
We offer a structured progression plan with £2000 pay increases each time as well as routes into management and directorship.
